Reduce Cycle Time in Gas Assist Injection Molding by 20-50%

January 17, 2018

Over the past few decades, the use of Gas Assist Injection Molding (GAIM) has been expanding in North America and elsewhere in the world. GAIM is an injection molding process whereby the molten polymer is injected into the mold followed by an injection of pressurized gas into one or more thick sections of the part. The injected gas forces the molten polymer out of the center of the thick section. The polymer is cooled by the surface of the mold cavity resulting in a hollow part.

Green Chemistry and Contract Synthesis – a Contradiction?

whitePaper | June 17, 2021

The topic of green chemistry is now also a challenge for contract synthesis suppliers. This is because more and more manufacturers of shampoos, detergents, paints, packaging and other consumer products are becoming increasingly concerned about the ecological footprint of their products. The trend is being fueled by consumers, who are increasingly prepared to spend more money on products that are better for the environment. But the political environment is also exerting major pressure on companies.
