Plastics and Polymer Composites in Light Vehicles

This report presents the latest results of an assessment of the chemistry and other materials make-up of light vehicles, a major end-use customer for American chemistry. It marks the first time we have examined the market for all of North America. That is, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) comprised of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Matix Fertilisers & Chemicals Limited

MATIX Group is setting up a greenfield fertiliser complex with a capacity of 3 MTPA in West Bengal, India. Matix is at an advanced stage of constructing its first unit with an investment of USD 1.1 bn, comprising of 2,200 MTPD Ammonia plant, 3,850 MTPD Urea plant, and all integrated offsites & utilities. The plant will use energy efficient and latest technology from industry leaders Kellogg, Brown & Root (KBR), USA and Saipem, Italy. With well-developed infrastructure, 33 MW captive power plant, this first-of-its-kind complex is close to all key markets in eastern India. The project is slated for completion in 2013 and shall adhere to the highest standards of environmental safety, encouraging entrepreneurship with direct & indirect employment opportunities to the people of West Bengal.
