This is so they can be tracked, through a notification process, regardless of how they are subsequently used, even if some information is inaccurate or changed. The system requires a unique code, which will need to be given to downstream users of the chemicals along the supply chain. In addition to users, the code will need to be supplied to transporters, warehouses and exporting service providers.
