ADNOC signs sales contract with Wanhua Chemical Group

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has signed a new long-term liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sales agreement with China’s Wanhua Chemical Group. Under the ten-year contract, Wanhua has agreed to purchase up to one million metric tonnes of LPG per year. Wanhua uses LPG as the main feedstock for its petrochemical units and demand for this product is projected to increase by up to six million tons per annum by 2021. The new partnership is expected to strengthen the partnership between ADNOC, its partners and customers in China.
