Intertape Polymer Group Inc. announced that it has agreed with Clearlake Capital Group, L.P, to acquire outstanding shares of IPG for CDN$40.50 per share. The valuation of the share is approximately US$2.6 billion, also including net debt. The closing price of IPG common shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange on March 7, 2022, was recorded about 66% to the volume-weighted average trading price of IPG common shares. This means that IGP will become a privately held company sooner.
