NEW AGREEMENTS FOR GROWTH OF THE PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRY

An agreement is signed by ACNCEC and Baltic chemical Complex (a subsidiary of RusGasDobycha) to construct a 13.3bn petrochemical plant to be the largest within the global. The deal will see China National Chemical Engineering Company (CNCEC) build the baltic chemical complex and take them on the role of a popular contractor for what dai Hagen, chairman of CNCEC, has described as the most considerable ethylene integration challenge inside the global. The plant that will produce Russian natural gas is to be constructed on the port of Ust-Luga near the Gulf of Finland. The contract, which includes creation of the chemical plant, will characteristic sets of ethylene cracking facilities with an annual potential of 1.4 million heaps; six games of polyethylene facilities with an annual potential of 480,000 heaps; sets of linear alpha olefin facilities (used in the production of polyethylene) with a yearly capacity of 137,000 heaps.
