European petrochemicals producers start 2019 with a cautious outlook after high expectations for 2018 were dampened by a slowing global economy. Unresolved issues like the UK’s departure from the EU and the trade war between the US and China have further weakened sentiment for 2019, forcing European petrochemicals to brace for an uncertain year ahead.
